Pedal to produce

Imagine the perfect foodies holiday: cycling from a quaint village café, down a country road to taste award winning wines and onto a farm gate to pick up some  fresh regional produce and meet the farmer who grew it.

You might think this only happens in Europe but with the launch of Pedal to produce in Victoria’s High Country you don’t have to travel to provincial France to enjoy a gourmet cycling holiday.

Victoria’s High Country has created Pedal to Produce, a tasty initiative that involves cycling through Victoria’s most beautiful countryside enjoying the region’s gourmet delights.

Pedal to Produce includes the renowned food and wine regions of Rutherglen, Beechworth, Glenrowan, Milawa, King Valley, Myrtleford, Bright , the Kiewa Valley and Mansfield where you can visit cellar doors, local breweries or drop into a café for a coffee. If you’re hungry you can refuel at one of the many bakeries, restaurants and food producers along the way.
